Keira Mamakwa was having a busy day, doing some tasks around her home in Ontario, Canada. One of her tasks involved driving to the local ash heap to drop off some garbage. Mamakwa saw someone whose day was a bit more laid back. Amid all that disposed-of garbage, this guy had found a treasure.

Pulling into the dump, she noticed a random bear who’d appeared from the surrounding jungle. He’d come in finding a comfortable spot to chill — which, sure enough, he’d found with little trouble. As it just so happens, another person had recently tossed out a perfectly good mattress. Bear was not about to let it go to waste.

While she looked on in surprise, the bear settled in, absent of care in the world. The bear was taking a “me” day.

It wasn’t long before her job at the ash heap was done, and she had to go on to the next task. Bear was seemingly planning for a longer stay. He was well on his way to grabbing a few Zs — making her day in the process.” It was an exciting thing to see,” she said.
