Last weekend, on a seriously hot day in Turkey, Recep Serçe decided to battle the heat to complete some tasks outdoors. Foremost among them was to wash his car, so Serçe grabbed the hose and turned it on.
However, what Serçe didn’t know at the time was that he’d soon be called upon to use it for a far more noble purpose.
When he was washing the car, An unexpected pigeon appeared and perched on the bonnet. The poor bird appeared to be struggling in the scorching weather. Serçe sensed she was asking for help.
“It was like a miracle,” “I was very happy [to receive her].”
And it shows.

Putting his task on pause, Serçe helped quench the little pigeon’s thirst and cool her feathers with a bath. And sure enough, strength returned to her weary body with each passing moment.
After a few minutes, she flew away, refreshed.
Though it was a brief encounter, it made a difference for the pigeon. Serçe appreciates that he was able to help.
